My Life Outside the Frame
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m regularly adding books to my wishlist or making a fresh pour-over of Bulletproof coffee (to sit down with said books on said wishlist). I’m also a soul who’s down for spontaneous day trips, who needs a daily quota of outdoor time to stay sane and inspired.
I grew up with four generations of humans gathered around kitchen tables, sipping coffee and sweet tea and telling stories. War. Young romance. Family pets. Secrets. We regularly pulled out black and white photos, Polaroids, and memories exposed onto Fuji paper—all prompts for telling our favorite stories again and again. The storyteller in me comes honest and inspires my approach to photographing you and the pets you love.
